It has now been officially confirmed that a tribute concert is to take place at the O2 arena in London in order to celebrate the success of Les Miserables and its 25th anniversary in 2 special concerts at the O2 Arena in London this fall.
The 25th anniversary of the production is simply one more milestone for Les Miserables. The show became the longest running musical in the world in 2006 after taking to the stage for the first time in 1985.
Producer Cameron Mackintosh has said that the event will take place on Sunday October 3rd in order to coincide with the two theatre versions of Les Miserables which will be running at the same time to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
